About PSI
Helping good
performance last.
Performance Stability Index is a visual framework for understanding and strengthening performance stability across five interconnected domains.
It connects a reflective snapshot of current performance with relevant learning, workbook application and facilitated development.

Our purpose
Strong results.
Sustainable support.
A result can look strong while depending on pressure, over-effort or support arrangements that are difficult to maintain.
PSI looks at the conditions behind that result: energy, regulation, manageable effort and reliable support. The aim is to understand what helps performance stay steady as demands and circumstances change.
“What conditions made the difference?”
The five PSI domains
Five domains.
One connected system.
Each domain can support or place pressure on the others. PSI helps people explore that pattern in context.
01
Performance Variability Awareness
Recognising how performance, focus and behaviour change with pressure, fatigue, complexity and environmental demands.
02
Regulation and Energy Stability
Understanding attention, energy, emotional responses and recovery, and what helps them remain manageable over time.
03
Execution Reliability Systems
Using structures, routines and workflows that help translate intention into reliable action.
04
Communication and Decision Making
Maintaining clarity, judgement and useful conversations as demands, uncertainty or pressure change.
05
Organisational Integration
Exploring how a person’s way of working fits with the expectations, systems and responsibilities of their environment.
How PSI works
From reflection
to development.
The PSI Wheel provides the snapshot. The Performance Stability Loop shows how the domains interact. The learning Levels guide the development focus.
The Wheel supports reflection and development planning. It does not diagnose, judge ability or produce a single total score.
01
PSI Wheel Mapping
Reflect on recent experience across the five domains to create a visual snapshot of current stability.
02
Pattern and profile discussion
Explore what the pattern means in context. A stability profile may help the conversation; using one is optional.
03
Relevant domain course pathway
Agree a useful learning focus based on the participant’s experiences, goals, circumstances and readiness.
04
Workbook application
Connect course learning to everyday situations through examples, reflection and practical activities.
05
Facilitated development
Use coaching, review sessions or workplace conversations to support application and agree manageable next steps.
The development pathway
Three learning Levels.
The Levels describe a development focus. They can differ across domains and change with context and support.
Level 1
Variable Performance
Build awareness of current patterns and introduce helpful systems and support.
Level 2
Emerging Stability
Strengthen routines, regulation and communication as consistency begins to develop.
Level 3
Stable and Optimised Performance
Refine reliable systems and sustain manageable performance across changing demands.
Three levels. One path to consistent excellence. Build the systems and support that help you sustain good performance over time.
Who it’s for
For people.
For teams. For everyday work.
Use PSI’s questions to reflect on your own experience or open a useful conversation with others.
01 / Individuals
Understand your own patterns
Notice the habits, expectations and support that help you stay consistent, and where a small adjustment could make a difference.
02 / Teams
Build shared understanding
Talk about what helps work go well, where the pressure is changing and which conditions the team could improve together.
03 / Leaders
Make room for useful support
Clarify expectations, listen to what people need and explore how good performance can become easier to sustain.
Begin with one question
What would make good performance
easier to sustain?
Take a moment to reflect, then choose one practical step for yourself or your team.
